張建鈞醫師在學術研究上有豐富的論文發表，針對退行性脊椎後凸患者進行椎板截骨與融合手術，進行了相關臨床論文發表，運用O-arm 3D脊椎電腦導航可避免過多的骨骼和軟組織被破壞，術後傷口面積小，住院時間也較短，另外運用O-arm 3D脊椎電腦導航結合超音波骨切割器進行大角度脊椎側彎截骨手術時，透過熟練的操作和正確使用O-arm 3D脊椎電腦導航，可以成功地將失血量控制在600毫升，Cobb angle平均矯正率為42.50％，新式手術方式可避免周圍的大血管和主要器官的傷害，也可精確成功的矯正脊柱側彎。同時也在2023年於台中慈濟醫院以通訊作者的身分完成，帶領微創脊椎關節中心的團隊成員一起完成實證醫學的論文發表。(2021World Neurosurg.IF:2.21)
