Minimally Invasive Scoliosis Correction – Precise Treatment for Rare Conditions

Precise Correction for Scoliosis in Marfan Syndrome
An 18-year-old patient with Marfan syndrome and scoliosis experienced worsening back pain over the years, which affected daily activities. Due to the unique risks associated with Marfan syndrome, traditional surgeries posed higher risks, leaving the patient hesitant to seek treatment. After comprehensive preoperative evaluation and planning, the patient underwent computer-assisted minimally invasive scoliosis correction surgery. The procedure was precise, with minimal incision size and blood loss, achieving a correction rate exceeding 85%. The minimally invasive approach significantly reduced surgical risks, leading to a fast recovery and allowing the patient to regain a pain-free, normal life.
