Spine Revision Surgery | Say Goodbye to Back Pain and Leg Numbness, Get Ready for Your Next Marathon

In the third story of our spine revision surgery series, we introduce Ms. Tsai, a 50-year-old patient. After suffering from a spinal fracture and undergoing surgery in 2017, she experienced persistent lower body numbness, weakness, and severe pain. For six years, she relied on painkillers daily but saw no improvement. During this time, she visited numerous doctors, yet no one was willing to perform another surgery, leaving her in despair. In late 2023, Ms. Tsai came to Minimally Invasive Spine and Joint Center, where she underwent spine revision surgery. Following the procedure, she no longer needs pain medication. She is now undergoing rehabilitation, eagerly aiming to recover and return to her beloved marathon races.
